An End and A Beginning

Hope and faith...
A sermon isnt intended here, just an encapsulation of the time that was, the time that promises to come and the lesson that it has chosen to impart in the only way it can. Anything is possible, be prepared for it. When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, and when there's nothing you can do about it, keep a little hope. And faith too, in yourself and your ability.
Its been a long time since I last posted on this blog. All this while I had been trying hard to come up with something that could make me smile, but it seems this is all I have at the moment...
The year has been drawing to a close. A year that I can best describe as 'an eclectic medley of extremes'! For I have seen the extreme facets of life this year, in sentiments, emotions, luck, society, success, failure, acads, relationships and friendships. Changes happened constantly and the constants kept changing...
I can already hear the footsteps of the New Year... Still have no idea how to welcome it, perhaps in quiet solitude and with a smile. My only resolution this time would be, come what may, have hope and faith...Guess thats one resolution for the keeping[:)]

hope is a ridiculous concept, ludicrous in most ways. it teaches you to expect that things will change and if things do change it makes you wish (which is 'hope' again) that they remains as they are and when they don't the hoping continues. an ugly cycle that even fortuna's spin of the wheel cannot help you out of.
i wonder what would this world have been if only that stupid girl hadn't opened the box she was precisely told not to open by Epimetheus.
keep hoping...
faith is a concept i've never given much thought to, for the loss of it is certainly a much greater loss than the loss of what you had faith in, and the stupid me can only think as big as the grain of sand moving with the flow of time.
keep the faith!
A very happy new year :)
